Ulterior motive behind case: Vellappally Natesan

kk

CHERTHALA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellapally Natesan said that there is an ulterior motive behind the case registered against him and his son Thushar Vellappally. According to Vellappally, he and his son were named accused in the case of the death of Kanichukulangara SNDP Union Secretary KK Mahesan's death so as to prevent them from contesting the SNDP Yogam elections.

"The court order was obtained by creating a misunderstanding. There are people behind this who are working with an ulterior motive to remove me and Thushar from the leadership of the SNDP Yogam. The new complaint is aimed at the Yogam election. Those opposing the Yogam leadership are behind the scheme suit filed in the court seeking to bar the accused in criminal cases from contesting the Yogam leadership. Their plan to keep me and Thushar away by trapping us in the case will remain as a dream. Mahesan has not mentioned suicide incitement in his 32-page letter. He committed suicide after the police presented evidence as part of the investigation in the microfinance fraud case in Mavelikara. Those who said that the investigation led by IG Harshita Attaluri was satisfactory, later came forward with the complaint. There is outside interference behind this. I am not afraid of any investigation. I was the first to demand a CBI investigation into the incident," Vellappally said.
