Clash at beverages outlet premises over purchase of liquor; two persons hacked by youth

IDUKKI: Two persons were injured in a clash that broke out in front of a beverages outlet in Kumily. Kumily 66th Mile natives Roy Mathew and Jinu Sebastian were hacked. It is reported that one of them is seriously injured. Kanjikuzhy native Amal committed the attack in a drunken state. According to sources, the clash broke out following a dispute over the purchase of liquor while Amal and others were drinking in a group. Provoked by the dispute, Amal stabbed his accomplices and fled from the scene. The police said that they have intensified the search for the accused.
