Another human sacrifice attempt in Kerala; woman has a narrow escape, police in search of sorcerer and intermediary

PATHANAMTHITTA: A woman had a narrow escape from an attempt on human sacrifice. The incident happened at Kuttappuzha in Thiruvalla. A native of Kudagu staying in Kochi escaped from the human sacrifice.

The incident happened on December 8 midnight. An intermediary named Ambili brought the woman to Tiruvalla for doing a pooja to solve problems with her husband. The woman said that during the rituals, they told her that they are going to sacrifice her with a sword. She had a narrow escape when one of her relatives reached the house where the pooja was going on. The woman did not disclose this to anyone in the beginning out of fear. However, she formed the police later with the help of her friends. The police special branch confirmed the incident and have submitted a report to the ADGP.
