China surrounds Taiwan with 71 war planes 7 warships in retaliation against US defense bill supporting Taiwan

BEIJING: Taiwanese defense ministry has said that China has surrounded the country with 71 war planes and seven warships. This move by China is in retaliation against US decision to give more importance to Taiwan in its yearly defense bill.

Taiwan also said that Chinese aircrafts have crossed the country’s sea boundary. The US bill passed on Saturday spoke of increased military cooperation with Taiwan. This has angered the communist country.

The Taiwanese ministry of defense said that between Sunday morning and Monday morning 47 Chinese aircrafts had crossed the unofficial boundary. The Chinese movements are being monitored by the Taiwanese defense.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for China’s People Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command said that the move is strong response against the US-Taiwan relation. He also said that China will conduct combined defense war patrolling around Taiwan and also a combined strike drill.

Though China claims Taiwan as part of it, the Taiwanese people say they are a sovereign country. The Chinese communist regime has been trying for years to bring Taiwan under its command.
