Teacher dies after KSRTC bus hits scooter, her husband suffer injuries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A teacher traveling on a scooter with her husband died after being hit by a KSRTC bus. The mishap took place in Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram. The deceased has been identified as Lilly, a native of Kakkamoola. She is a former teacher of Govt Higher Secondary School, Punnamode. Her husband Raveendran, who was driving the scooter, was admitted to the hospital with injuries.

Their scooter was hit by a KSRTC bus of Pappanamcode depot. Eyewitnesses say that the speeding bus hit the scooter. After the collision, Lilly died on the spot. Raveendran's condition is not serious. Ravindran is a rtd Grade SI.
