SYDNEY: People carrying Indian flags were mercilessly attacked by a clique of pro-khalistani goons in Australia. The people rallied with Indian flags near the federation square in Australia to celebrate Indian republic day when such an incident took shape. The video of this incident was made public by BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Twitter.

The pro- khalistanis are seen in the video brutally beating people carrying the Indian tricolor. The Indians are seen running away scattered in fear. The khalistanis followed some and brutally thrashed many with sticks. Five of these attacked Indians have been hospitalized with mild injuries.
Condemning the attack, the Victoria Police informed that as of now two people have been arrested. The two arrested men are in their 30s and have been issued a penalty notice for "riotous behaviour."The attack instills an ominous sign in Australia as days before a Hindu temple was put on fire by an unknown in the city.
