Producer of the movie 'Bandra' has filed a petition in the court demanding a case against the vloggers who gave bad reviews against the movie directed by Arun Gopi and starring Dileep in the lead role. The petition is against vloggers Ashwanth Kok, Shihab, Unni Vlogs, Shaz Mohammad, Arjun, Shijaz Talks and Sai Krishna. The petition is filed in Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First Class Magistrate Court by Ajith Vinayaka Films, the producer of Bandra.

It is alleged in the petition that the said vloggers posted negative reviews within three days of the release of the film in such a way that the company suffered a loss. In the petition, the production company also demanded that the Thiruvananthapuram City Police Commissioner be instructed to file a case. The makers are alleging that the film is being degraded through fake, bad and misleading things on social media. Producers say that what this is not only defamation but extortion.
