DHARAMSHALA: India registered a thumping victory in the third T20I match against South Africa. After winning the toss, India sent the Proteas to bat and bowled them out for just 117 runs. Chasing the target, India reached 118 runs in 15.5 overs with seven wickets remaining. After Abhishek Sharma (35) and Shubman Gill (28) were dismissed, Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube guided India to a comfortable win. With this, India leads the series 2-1.

During the match, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya achieved a world record. He became the first fast-bowling all-rounder in T20I Internationals to take 100 wickets and score 1,000 runs. The Indian bowlers’ brilliant performance kept South Africa to a low total. Captain Aiden Markram’s lone effort of 61 runs off 46 balls was the only resistance, helping South Africa cross the 100-run mark. For India, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, and Kuldeep Yadav picked up two wickets each, dismantling the South African batting lineup.
