RIYADH: The news that Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi might be a part of Arab football was widely circulated in the football world. The news that Messi will be a part of Al Hilal club came out after Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo joined Saudi club Al-Nassr.

But now Al-Ittihad, another Saudi league club, is preparing the transfer fee for Messi. It is reported that the club's offer amount is 94 million dollars which is approximately 770 crore rupees. If these figures are correct, Al Ittihad has offered less money for Messi than what Al-Nassr had spent for Cristiano. Al-Nassr bought Cristiano for a record amount of Rs 1,950 crore. It is reported that the Saudi club is trying to sign a two-year contract with Messi. The goal of the club is to bring Messi to the team and easily win the Saudi national title. The team management reckons that with the arrival of Messi, it will be a new awakening for the other players of Al Ittihad.

Messi, who is celebrating the golden moments of his career by winning the World Cup, has not renewed his contract with his current club, PSG. Therefore, the rumors of Messi's entry into Arab football are getting a lot of publicity. Earlier, news came out that Al-Hilal offered a contract amount of 300 million euros, which is about 2445 crore rupees, to transfer Messi from the European leagues to Saudi football.
