'Strangeness initially, but Aishwarya managed it well'; Abhishek Bachchan's viral response

There is no end to the gossip surrounding the marital life of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Netizens have now unearthed a former interview of Abhishek in which he talks about the major roles played by three women in his life. This has now gone viral amidst rumours of a purported rift between Aishwarya and Abhishek’s mother, Jaya Bachchan.

The now viral interview dates back to early 2010 when Abhishek attended the famous show hosted by director Karan Johar. The director, known for his knack for bringing out confidential details from celebrities, found success with Abhishek too.

Karan: There are three major women in your life. Have you in any time caught up in a tussle over differences between them? You keep a great relationship with your sister, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and for Jaya aunty, you are everything in this world. At this point, another woman is entering your life (Aishwarya Rai). Is life difficult to manage among the three women?

Abhishek: All credits go to the three women. My mother and Aishwarya carry a special bonhomie, and I sometimes feel surprised too. They both share all details of their life. For a woman, coming to her husband’s home for the first time may feel a little strange. Only a mother-in-law can help alleviate the strangeness. In my case, all three women became tight-knit immediately after my marriage.
