Argentina qualified after a goalless draw between Bolivia and Uruguay. Argentina is now six points ahead of second-placed Ecuador and 13 points ahead of seventh-placed Bolivia.

Meantime, Uruguay's defense played a crucial role in Argentina's qualification in today's match. Goalkeeper Sergio Roche made seven saves against Bolivia. This is a feat that no Uruguay goalkeeper has achieved since Fernando Muslera made nine saves against Brazil in October 2021. Bolivia had 32 shots on goal during the match.
