NEW DELHI: US President Donald Trump has reportedly tried to talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi four times over the phone as the additional tariffs are set to come into effect from today. German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung reported that Modi refused to talk to Trump. It is being reported that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not pick up Trump's calls because he was upset over the tariff hike. The two last spoke on the phone on June 17. It was the first phone conversation since Operation Sindoor.
