KOZHIKODE: Mohammed Shuhaib, CEO of online tuition firm M S Solutions, surrendered in the Christmas exam question paper leak case. He is the first accused in the case. Shuhaib surrendered at the Kozhikode Crime Branch office. He surrendered after the high court rejected his bail plea. The crime branch informed to question him in detail.

The crime branch yesterday arrested Abdul Nazar of Ramapuram in Malappuram, a peon of Ma'din Higher Secondary School, an unaided school at Melmuri. The crime branch found that he was the one who leaked the question paper to T Fahadh of Malappuram and a teacher at M S Solutions.

Crime Branch SP Moideenkutty said the accused confessed to the crime and the conspiracy was proven. The investigation so far has not found any role for the education department in the incident. Fahadh was a teacher at the school where Abdul Nazar has been working for many years and so the two had a close bonding.

Nazar’s connection in the case was revealed after Fahad was questioned. Along with Fahadh, another teacher of M S Solutions, C K Jishnu of Puthiyangadi in Kozhikode was also arrested.

The question papers of Plus One Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and SSLC English exams were leaked. The question papers were circulated on YouTube by Muhammad Shuhaib.
