‘Kamala concedes Trump’s win, congratulates him on his victory’

WASHINGTON: US vice president Kamala Harris came forward to congratulate Donald Trump, the Republican candidate who won the American presidential election. Kamala congratulated Trump by calling him directly on the phone. Let Trump be the president of all Americans, added Kamala. Kamala also stated that she has accepted the defeat in the election.

Trump, who performed well in the swing states where Kamala Harris was predicted to win, won seven crucial states. According to the popular vote, 51 percent of Americans sided with Trump. Kamala got only 47 percent votes.

Republicans won the election. Trump got 280 of the 538 electoral votes. Trump won a landslide victory in Republican strongholds with up to 30 percent more votes. The official result declaration will be on January 6, 2025. Trump will take office as the 47th President of the United States on January 20. World leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Trump the other day.
