Renowned fashion designer Giorgio Armani passes away at 91

ROME: Renowned Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani passed away at the age of 91 due to age-related ailments. The founder of Armani Exchange Group, Giorgio Armani, is widely considered Hollywood's most loved fashion designer. The Armani Group announced the news of his passing through its Instagram page.

'With infinite sorrow, the Armani Group announces the passing of its creator, founder, and tireless driving force: Giorgio Armani,' the statement said. The group also said that his body will be kept for public viewing in Milan on September 6 and 7, followed by the funeral ceremonies.

Known as ‘King Giorgio’, Armani left his mark in several fields, including ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, watches, jewellery, fashion accessories, eyewear, cosmetics, and even home interiors.
