NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has cancelled the Plus Two board exams postponed earlier in several Middle East countries amid the ongoing tensions in US-Israel-US war. An official notification issued by CBSE today has clarified this. The Plus Two examinations scheduled to be held in various parts of the Middle East from March 16 to April 10 have been cancelled, the official notification states, adding that other details will be informed later.
CBSE will inform the criteria for determining the results later. The results will be determined by taking into account the internal marks provided by the school, the results of unit tests conducted so far, project marks, and the student's academic performance.
The CBSE had informed on March 3 that the exams for classes 10 and 12 in the Gulf region had been postponed following the conflict in the Middle East. The exams scheduled for class 10 were later canceled. Now, the Plus Two exams have also been canceled. Directions in this regard were given to CBSE schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
