Keralite wins Rs 37 crore jackpot yet again in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket

ABU DHABI: Abu Dhabi Big Ticket is one of the popular monthly lottery events in UAE. An expatriate Malayali has now won 15 million dirhams (Rs 37,62,41,100) in the Big Ticket raffle draw. The lucky winner is Vibeesh Palliyal, a Sharjah based expat. Vibeesh won the prize for ticket number 394150, which was drawn on February 28.

The draw of lots, which was scheduled to be held on March 3, was postponed due to the unexpected tension in the Gulf region. February was one of the months with the highest number of prizes in the history of Big Ticket. In addition to the grand prize won by Vibeesh, five lucky winners also received consolation prizes of 100,000 dirhams each. 16 people were also given 50,000 dirhams each as prizes through the weekly e-draws in February.

Vibeesh said that he has not decided how to use the prize money. Many Malayalees have won crores of rupees as prizes in the Big-Ticket draw held at Abu Dhabi International Airport in the past.
