
ABU DHABI: The National Center of Meteorology in UAE has warned that the country will experience a hazy atmosphere due to the dense fog, and that horizontal visibility may decrease again in some areas. Red and yellow alerts have been issued in some areas due to the fog.
The red alert has been issued in areas where fog forms, causing visibility to be less than 1,000 meters. Abu Dhabi Police informed that the speed of vehicles has been reduced to 80 kilometers per hour in some areas.
Meantime, the center of meteorology has stated that light rain is expected in the coastal and northern areas. The atmosphere will be partly cloudy. Wet weather is expected in some coastal areas at night and on Sunday morning. Winds are likely to blow from 10-20 kilometers per hour to 35 kilometers per hour. There will be light to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The Meteorological Center also stated that temperatures will rise between 19 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius in Dubai, between 16 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius in Sharjah, and between 17 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi.
