Two injured in buses-car collision

ALAPPUZHA: A car hit multiple buses near Kallissery Junction in Chengannur. The accident involved a KSRTC bus and a private bus. Two in the car sustained injuries. They have been admitted to a private hospital. The injuries are not reported to be serious.

The accident happened early Sunday morning at 6.30 am. The car coming from the opposite direction first hit the KSRTC bus coming towards Chengannur. The car then met with another accident while trying to overtake another vehicle. The car skidded across the road due to the impact and hit the private bus that was behind. Traffic was disrupted on the MC Road for several hours after the accident.
