Young engineer shocked to see bride after first night, soon demands divorce

According to the report, an engineer in Kuwait has sought divorce from his wife following a dispute over the colour of her eyes. The engineer is a native of Al-Sabahiya in Kuwait. The youth initially thought the colour of his bride's eyes was black. However, only a day after marriage did he realize that his wife's eyes were green in colour. The groom did not know that the bride was wearing contact lenses. Upon finding this, the young man asked for a divorce. The woman regularly uses contact lenses due to vision problems.

The youth had not inquired about the eye colour of the bride after the engagement. However, he has now come forward demanding a divorce, alleging that he had been misled. He alleges that the colour of the bride's eyes might affect the children born to them in the future. The bride's family is attempting to hold talks with the groom and resolve the matter.
