TEL AVIV: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the nation after Iran carried out a missile attack on one of Israel’s famous hospitals. Netanyahu boasted of Israel’s capacity to eliminate Iran's nuclear threat. The Israeli prime minister did not rule out the possibility of assassinating Khamenei. He pointed out that all options are open.

The Iran attack took place at Soroka Hospital in the southern city of Beersheba. The Iranian missile attack targeted an army control centre near the hospital. Several people were injured in the attack.

Earlier, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would not be allowed to "stand still." Katz compared Khamenei to German dictator Adolf Hitler. "A dictator like Khamenei, who has set himself the goal of destroying Israel, should not be allowed to live any longer' Katz said.

Meanwhile, the Israel-Iran war has entered its seventh day. According to official figures, more than 200 people have died in Iran and 24 in Israel since the conflict began. Meanwhile, there are reports that the United States is preparing to join Israel to settle scores with Iran. Trump held an emergency meeting with national security officials. The White House has not released details of the meeting.
