Car carrying Malayalees to Ooty collides with lorry killing three including kid

BENGALURU: Three were killed when the car carrying Malayalees, who were on a pleasure trip to Ooty, collided with a lorry. The accident happened Sunday morning near Gundlupete in Karnataka. A seven-member group from Kannur travelling to Ooty met with the accident.

The dead has been identified as Muneer (30), Muneera (45) and Mohis Sidhan, aged three and a half. The accident happened about ten kilometers from Gundlupete. Four in the car sustained injuries and they have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The car was completely destroyed by the impact of the crash. The locals, fire force and the police cut open the car and pulled out the passengers with great effort.
