TEHRAN: Three Indians, who went missing from Iran, have been found. The Iranian Embassy in India informed that all the three have been released. Hushan Preet Singh, Jaspal Singh and Amritpal Singh of Punjab went missing last month. They went missing after landing in Iran on May 1. Now they have been released by the Tehran police.
The Ministry of External Affairs had said last week that they had held talks with Iranian authorities over the missing Indians. They were supposed to go to Australia for work from Delhi via Dubai to Iran. An agent in Punjab had promised to take them to Australia. The agent had also promised temporary accommodation in Iran. However, they went missing after landing in Iran. The agent who offered them job is absconding.

Their families had informed the police that the youths had been kidnapped and that a ransom of Rs 1 crore had been demanded. The family added that the gang sent a video and pictures of the three people's hands being tied up. There were cuts and bruises on their bodies.
