Massacre in Pakistan; Twenty people shot dead, seven injured

QUETTA: 20 workers were reportedly killed in an attack on a coal mine in the southwestern province of Balochistan. Seven people were injured in the attack.

The incident happened this morning. It is reported that the attackers came to the mine armed with weapons and opened fire on the workers. "Early in the morning, a group of armed men attacked the Junaid Coal Company mine in Duki area. They fired rockets and grenades at the mines," said police officer Humayun Khan.

Dr. Johar Khan Shadisai said that so far twenty bodies have been brought to the district hospital. He stated that six injured people are undergoing treatment in this hospital. It is reported that three of the dead and four of the injured are from Afghanistan.
