Property inherited from father; Jaick C Thomas’ demands reply from congress for personal abuse

KOTTAYAM: Jaick C Thomas, the left candidate for the Puthupally bypolls, said the allegation related to property is personal abuse. He said the property was inherited from his father and demanded a reply from the congress leadership for personally abusing him. He said the Congress Cyber team’s campaign is cheap.

Jaick C Thomas filed his nomination papers today. He filed the nominations at 11 am today before the returning officer in Kottayam Collectorate. Jaick was accompanied by Left convenor E P Jayarajan.

UDF candidate Chandy Oommen will start campaigning after offering prayers at Puthupally Church today, which is the 30th day of the demise of Oommen Chandy. BJP Kottayam district chief Lijin Lal is the BJP candidate for Puthupally. State chief K Surendran will reach Puthupally today to lead the election campaign.
