Shah Rukh Khan’s luxury watch sparks buzz: Priced at Rs 13 crore, its features go beyond gold and diamonds

RIYADH: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan attended the Joy Awards 2026 held in Saudi Arabia. While his black outfit on stage drew attention, what truly stood out was the rare luxury watch he was wearing. Shah Rukh Khan was seen wearing the ‘Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Sapphire’, a highly exclusive timepiece from the Cosmograph category.

This watch was unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2025 and is an extremely rare model available only to Rolex’s VIP clients. The luxury watch is priced at around Rs 13 crore.

The watch features a 40 mm case made of 18-carat white gold and is set with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds. The bezel is adorned with 36 baguette-cut blue sapphires. The silver obsidian dial is considered a masterpiece, as it subtly changes colour depending on lighting conditions. Due to its rarity, the watch is often referred to as the ‘Ghost Watch’. Only a very limited number of these watches have been sold globally.

This is not the first time Shah Rukh Khan has worn this ultra-luxury watch. He had earlier grabbed attention wearing the same watch during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Dubai. Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for the film ‘King’, which stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Suhana Khan, and Raghav Juyal in key roles.
