'Ward councillor above MLA': R Sreelekha shares picture of new name board

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Councilor R Sreelekha has installed a new name board at her office in the corporation building in Sasthamangalam. The councilor installed the board with her name written on it right above the name board of MLA VK Prasanth. The councilor herself shared the pictures of it on her Facebook account.

Sreelekha had demanded that MLA VK Prasanth, who is working from the corporation building, vacate his office, saying that there was no space for her councillor's office to function. VK Prasanth is adamant that he will not vacate the office before the end of his term. Sreelekha installed the new name board before the controversies regarding this ended.

Sreelekha also shared a video response saying that a lawyer had filed a complaint against her with the Chief Minister. Sreelekha responded that the complaint was filed by a communist lawyer and that the complaint was about trespassing into the MLA's office. Sreelekha said that she came to know that the Chief Minister had forwarded this complaint to the DGP and that this is like attempting to scare her with a toy snake.
