'Actor' who doesn't know acting, received trolls for doing Mammookka's scene; didn't think it would be an insult to Mammookka'

Actor Aju Varghese said that many people have said that he doesn't know how to act. Speaking to a YouTube channel, Aju said that he had received trolls and criticism on social media for imitating a scene originally performed by Mammootty.

"Many people say that I don't know how to act. Recently, I tried to do a scene from Mammookka's Tamil film 'Kandukonden Kandukonden'. Soon after the video went viral, many people commented that I did that video to mock Mammookka. Some even called me arrogant. To be frank, I was just trying to recreate a scene that was beautifully performed by him. However, it turned out to be a huge flop. It was my friend Chandu who shot the video. I never thought that he would post it on social media. I didn't think it would be an insult to Mammookka," Aju said.

Aju Varghese also talked about actor Jaffer Idukki, whom he respects a lot. "I did a movie with Jaffer Idukki. He is an actor whom I respect a lot. He has also acted in a film produced by me. He is an excellent actor. While working together, he told me that he did not like me at all in the beginning. However, his opinion about me changed after watching my performance in the film 'Vellimoonga'. Otherwise, he wouldn't have come to act in my film. I really liked his openness," Aju said.
