'Da, I've brought Anu home; for me, that phone call was Dharmajan's marriage'

Ramesh Pisharody and Dharmajan Bolgatty are known to make the audience burst out into laughter through stage shows and channel programs. The two have been friends for years and fill the place with laughter whenever they are together. Now, Ramesh Pisharody has posted a note congratulating Dharmajan for officially registering his marriage.

'Da, I've brought Anu home...This is what Dharmajan told me over the phone. For me, that was his marriage. He could have officially registered the marriage a few years later without informing anyone. However, he and Anuja chose to get married again in the presence of their children. They also took 2 pictures in their wedding dress. It was fantastic. Then and now, it is his life, his decision and his happiness...his happiness is mine too,' Ramesh Pisharody wrote on his social media page.

Dharmajan was recently in the headlines for marrying his wife Anuja again at a small ceremony at a temple in Ernakulam. Although the couple eloped and married at a temple 16 years ago, their marriage was not officially registered. The actor and his wife chose to register their marriage to ensure the secure future of their children.

“We were married once. To be exact, we both eloped as lovers and got married 16 years ago. The marriage took place at a temple in my hometown. Despite the function, we didn’t register our marriage. And now, we have two children, Vaiga and Vedha, and the eldest is now 15 years old. We felt the need to document our marriage and register it properly, for the secure future of our children," Dharmajan wrote on his Facebook page.
