Fahadh acted in that film for one lakh; acted in another film for Rs 65,000

Fahadh Faasil is an actor who has many fans not only in Malayalam but also in other languages. After his first film as a hero failed, Fahadh, took a break from films, and then made a strong comeback after years.

Producer Listin Stephen has now opened up about the remuneration that Fahadh received. He revealed the remuneration Fahadh received for the film 'Chaappa Kurush'. Listin also said that Fahadh's remuneration was Rs 65,000 when he acted in the film Tournament.

'After Chapappa Kurush, I could not do a film with Fahadh. I still remember. When I asked Fahadh how much should be paid for the film in 2011, he told me you give me. Fahadh had told me that he acted in Tournament for Rs 65,000.

Fahadh had more scenes than a junior artist. Fahadh was there as a director, writer and actor in full energy. I paid Fahadh Rs one lakh then. That Fahadh has scaled new heights as an actor today. Even if you pay five or ten crores, you won't get Fahadh today. That is the magic of cinema,' said Listin Stephen.
