Meena shone alongside the superstars of South India, including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal, and Mammootty. The actress's husband died last year. Following this, news that the actress was preparing for a second marriage surfaced on social media. Now, actress Meena has come out with a response to the gossip about her second marriage.

Meena reacted to the news about her second marriage in an interview with Galatta Tamil. 'People are still talking about my second marriage. This is completely unacceptable. Those who spread such news forget that I have a daughter. They don't remember that she is also seeing all this.

"I am ignoring all of them now, but I cannot say when my patience will run out. Some people think that since I am an actress and a woman, they can write anything they want about me. When I see such news, I feel sad and angry. If there was at least a little truth in the news, it would be okay. I feel disgust for those who write things as they saw them with their own eyes."

"I am a very positive thinker. I like to stay happy. I am not ready to tire my mind with unnecessary things. Now I am pretending not to see all this. Those who hurt others will have to suffer the consequences. I have seen firsthand what those around me have suffered for the mistakes they have made. So karma will not spare those who spread such lies," the star said.

Meena added that her opinion should be asked about marriage, but everyone is competing to organise her wedding without asking her.
