After a seven-month break, megastar Mammootty is preparing to return to the silver screen soon. All major health tests are over, and the scan reports too emerged normal, leaving his family and loyal fan base in joy and moreover relief.

Producer and Mammootty's close aide S George wrote a note on Facebook thanking everyone who prayed for the actor's health.

I stand before you with folded hands, eyes filled with joy. To those who prayed, to those who stood by, to those who consoled me by saying that nothing would happen. Thank you,” George wrote on Facebook.

Robert Kuriakose, the PRO in charge of Mammootty's charitable activities, said the moment Malayalees were waiting for had arrived.

Mammootty took a short break from movies upon the advice of doctors following a health scare. Just a few days back, Mammootty’s nephew Ashkar gave a hint of a big surprise on cards for September 7th, the megastar's birthday.
