Dileep is an actor who has given Malayalam cinema a handful of memorable characters. Dileep, who started his career with Kalabhavan, was also active in the field of mimicry. He had appeared in some films while working as an assistant to director Kamal itself. Malayalis cannot get enough of Dileep's films like Punjabi House, Ee Parakkum Thalika, Kuberan, Meesha Madhavan, Kunjikoonan, CID Moosa, Vettam, Chanthupottu, etc.

Dileep's recently released 150th film 'Prince and Family' also received good responses. It was Dileep who produced the 2008 film 'Twenty 20', directed by Joshiy and featuring nearly all prominent Malayalam actors who were active at that time. Now, what Dileep recently said about this film is being discussed on social media. The actor reveals that Tamil actors Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth were called to act in a song in the film, which featured many actors.

Dileep's words

The plan was to film a song at the end of 'Twenty 20' with movie stars from all languages. I had contacted Kamal sir and Rajini sir to talk about that. Later, Kamal sir called me and asked, 'Aren't we doing that, when should I come?' So I said, sir, I will inform you. Sadly, in the end, it came to a point where I had to finish the movie somehow and release it. That's why that idea was scrapped. I was terribly sad because they were all ready to do it but it couldn't happen.
