Mohanlal teams up with Lijo Jose Pellissery for next film, actor to essay the role of 'Chempothu Simon'

Mohanlal to play the lead role in the next film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Fans have been eagerly awaiting about their team up ever since several reports came out. Now Mohanlal himself has officially announced that he will be teaming up with Lijo Jose Pellissery for his next film. He revealed this through his social media pages.

As per reports, the film is titled 'Malaikottai Vaaliban' and Mohanlal will play the role of Chempothu Simon. The film is produced by Shibu Baby John under the banner of John and Mary Creative. The poster of the film was released by John and Mary Creatives a few days ago.

Earlier there were reports that Mohanlal will be playing the role of a wrestler in the big budget film. It is also reported that the Mohanlal starrer will be a period film based on a myth.The shooting of 'Malaikottai Valiban' will begin in January 2023 in Rajasthan.
