'Saw news regarding me and Dhanush'; Actress Mrunal Thakur responds to dating rumours

NEW DELHI: Actress Mrunal Thakur finally gave up silence as she decided to respond to rumours of dating actor Dhanush. Mrunal, while talking with Only Kollywood, called Dhanush a good friend.

“I know that there has been a lot of news lately regarding me and Dhanush. I found all the reports funny. I did not personally invite Dhanush to the screening of Son of Sardaar 2. Actor Ajay Devgn invited him. All can stay relieved, and there is no need to think too much about Dhanush's participation in the event,' said Mrunal.

Mrunal Thakur's birthday party was held on August 1. Dhanush attended this event. Dhanush also came to Mumbai for a special screening of Mrunal's Bollywood film Son of Sardaar 2. A video of Mrunal and Dhanush holding hands at this event was discussed on social media. Mrunal attended a party organised by writer and producer Kanika Dhillon for Dhanush's upcoming film Tere Ishq Mein last July. Kanika also shared pictures of Dhanush and Mrunal posing for a photo together. Now, Mrunal is following Dhanush's sisters, Dr. Karthika and Vimala Geetha, on Instagram.
