'Strongest dad, fought for all of us'; Emotional note on CP Chacko’s birthday

Today is actor Shine Tom Chacko's father CP Chacko’s birthday. Alas, just two weeks back, Chacko succumbed to injuries in a fatal car crash near the Tamil Nadu border while travelling with his family. Now, Shine’s sister Riya Mary Chacko’s emotional note on Instagram is gaining attention.

Riya Mary Chacko:

“You were always loud. Always energetic… always full of life.. You always reached out first..We were never scared of you, we shared our sorrows with you, we fought with you, we cared for you, we loved you, and you have always remained the same..

You were not perfect, you had flaws, you made mistakes... But you always tried to be the best dad. Always try to be the best version of yourself. For the last few years you showed us how much a father can fight for protecting his own family. You fought for us, for our family, you led all of us. You were the light which guided us. You never let us down. You were always proud of us. You are the strongest dad”

Chacko was the guardian angel of the family, always ready to hop in and protect Shine whenever he got embroiled in controversies. The accident and the ensuing death were a shock nevertheless to the family and the feelings were palpable during the funeral ceremony when Shine had a rare emotional outburst.
