Actor Shane Nigam throughout his career has been at the forefront of many controversies. He is outspoken and at the same time can go overboard with his comments. Recently, the actor courted controversy for his quirky caption ‘Sudapi from India’ for a photo that he shared on his Instagram story.

Wearing a ‘keffiyeh’ Shane posted a photo on his Instagram page to show solidarity with Palestine. However, what caught the eyes of netizens were the quirky ‘Sudapi from India’ at the bottom of the photo which eventually paved the way for a massive troll attack. With the controversy yet to abate in full, the actor himself has opened up about his strange Instagram story.

Shane Nigam:

“I posted the photo in solidarity with Rafah. These days, comments are filling my Instagram box calling me Sudapi. So I thought it better to post the comment by myself rather than seeing it in the comment box. That ‘Sudapi’ comment was certain to happen in my comment box regardless of what I post.

I am not angry or sad. Things start getting worse only when we start to interpret comments seriously. I am used to such comments from the internet but it is not the same when it comes to my family. They are shattered by the online attacks I sometimes face. This eventually affects me a little so I will be very careful in what I say from now on."

Meanwhile, Shane's new film ‘Little Hearts’ is releasing on the 7th of this month. Mahima Nambiar, Shane's heroine in the film RDX, will make a reunion again with this movie.
