KOCHI: Film associations and other representatives in the reel world chaired a crucial meeting in Kochi to end the condescending attitude of certain superstars in the Malayalam industry. The press briefing by the producers association executives revealed a bombshell of decision. Sreenath Bhasi and Shane Nigam are banned from the Malayalam industry, said M Renjith for the film producers association. The decision comes unanimously after discussion with various other associations concerned with the Malayalam film industry.

“Many in the Malayalam film industry are chained in the shackles of drugs. The details of such actors will be passed to the government in the coming days. Such actors are nothing but a pain for the co-actors and technicians in movie set” said Idavela Babu for AMMA.

"Both Sreenath and Shane are procrastinators. They nerve reach the set on time. This inflicts a loss too heavy to carry forward for the producers. " said Renjith. FEFKA also demanded a ban on the two actors. Both Shane and Sreenath have been on the receiving end of criticism before for their lackadaisical attitude shown in film sets.
