'The only time I advised Pisharody', Dharmajan Bolgatty opens up

Dharmajan Bolgatty, who contested unsuccessfully from Balussery in the last assembly election, clarified whether he would contest this year’s crucial election. In a recent interview, Dharmajan responded to rumours about his best pal Ramesh Pisharody entering the election fray this time for Congress. The actor also opined about BJP storming to power in the Thiruvananthapuram corporation.

Dharmajan Bolgatty:

“There is a trend in Tamil Nadu where cine stars, irrespective of his/her stardom, get a good vote share if contested in elections. This doesn’t work in Kerala. Ramesh Pisharody also entered politics with me. If Ramesh Pisharody contests, the chances of winning are high. Elections involve a lot of expenses and other needs. I am not yet sure whether to contest elections again. Last time, I didn’t have to spend big money as Ramesh Chennithala, Chandy Oommen and KC Venugopal helped.

There is no doubt about Congress coming to power in Kerala. There are many able faces to be the next chief minister of the state from Congress. BJP coming to power in Thiruvananthapuram speaks volumes about the shoddy work done by LDF. The mayor displayed haughtiness unlike any other leader. This resulted in their drubbing.

Pisharody is a well-informed person. However, politics is no joke. If selected as a candidate, he needs to get to the ground and spend a lot of money. I have already asked him to save money and not splash it on extravagance.
