Suresh Gopi, the lead actor in the film Janaki Vs State of Kerala (JSK), made a critical response to the performance of his son Madhav Suresh in the film. JSK, written and directed by Pravin Narayanan and starring Suresh Gopi and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles, hit the theatres on July 17 after a messy legal battle.

Suresh Gopi:

"To be honest, I was not very satisfied when I saw it during the dubbing. In the theatre, however, I felt relieved as it was okay. It seemed like he used his eyes a lot in one shot. At one dialogue delivery, he widened his eyes. That seemed a little out of place.

In another scene, his attitude was good. After the dialogue, 'Isn't it because of you that Janaki is in such a situation, so aren't you also responsible for it?' Madhav made a cold look, and a silence followed. It blended well."

Suresh Gopi and his son, actor Gokul Suresh, had also come to the theatre to watch JSK. When asked about Madhav’s performance, Gokul said he would not respond to paparazzi.
