Vishnu Jayakumar's funeral on March 1 in Attingal; mortal remains to be flown from UK

ATTINGAL: Vishnu Jayakumar (26), the Kerala-based data scientist, a resident of Coventry, UK, went missing during the initial days of the month. It is believed that Vishnu passed away on Sunday, 1 February 2026. His body was discovered by the police on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.

The mortal remains will be flown from the UK by Emirates and are expected to arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday morning, 1 March 2026. The funeral will be held at his residence in Attingal later the same day.

The family of Vishnu thanked the Coventry Coroners and the officer from the Long Term and Complex Team, Missing Persons Investigation Team of West Midlands Police, for their continuous liaison and timely updates.
