KOCHI: Actor Hareesh Kanaran's revelation that production controller NM Badusha took Rs 20 lakh and did not return it was in the news recently. Hareesh said that Badusha borrowed Rs 20 lakh from him saying that he needed the money urgently to buy the land behind Oberon Mall and that Badusha did not give it back even after he asked for it. Hareesh said that after the issue was discussed on social media, Badusha called him and told him that the money would be settled. However, Badusha has come out with a response to this.

"I called Hareesh and his wife but they didn't pick up. I called Nirmal and spoke. I didn't say I would make a settlement. Why should I compromise after being humiliated like this? What I have to say, I will tell the media openly after the release of Rachel," Badusha wrote on Facebook. Badusha has also shared a video of Hareesh speaking. With this, the possibility of the controversy intensifying again has increased.

Full text of the Facebook post:

I called Hareesh and his wife; they didn't pick up the phone, so I called Nirmal that same day and discussed the matter. I didn't say that I would settle everything. Why should I compromise after being humiliated like this? I will tell everything I have to say openly in front of the media after the release of my film, Rachel. Until then, attack me with paid writers. A big thank you to all my loved ones who are standing with me in this situation.
