‘Shah Rukh Khan can dance on your stage, but why untouchability for Ramakrishnan,’ Peradi takes jibe at AMMA

KOZHIKODE: Actor Hareesh Peradi reacted to the incident where Kalabhavan Mani's brother and dancer RLV Ramakrishnan was subjected to a racial slur. In a Facebook post, Hareesh Peradi said that despite the general public's support for Dr Ramakrishnan, he did not see any support from AMMA, the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists. He added that the concern seen in protecting an accused in a sexual abuse case was not seen in this issue.

'You are all good actors but don't act like this. At least arrange a big stage for Ramakrishnan. Let him dance. Shah Rukh Khan, who is not a member of AMMA, can dance on your stage, but why untouchability for Ramakrishnan? Let Mani's soul be happy. Why don’t you change AMMA?' asked Hareesh Peradi.
