The film Narayaneente Moonnaanmakkal, directed by debutant Sharan Venugopal, has received mixed reviews in theatres. The film stars Alencier, Joju, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Shelly Kishore, Garggi Ananthan, and Thomas Mathew in lead roles. The film started streaming on OTT the other day. Following this, a controversy arose over the sexual relationship between siblings in the film. Now, host and Bigg Boss reality show star Firoz Khan has clarified his stance on this controversy and other issues. His response was in an interview given to a YouTube channel.

If Marco had been censored properly, not a single scene would have been left. There is such cruel stuff in it. What I am saying is that all situations influence a human being. Visual events influence a lot. We should think when such events are glorified.

You can never say that a film will not influence, it will definitely influence. He is a well-educated actor, he asks why don't you look at the good things? What a stupid question that is. The main problem is that many things are shown positively. Children misunderstand that there is no crime in it.

In the past, if a boy smoked a cigarette after an age, there was no problem. But now it is a big deal. Back then, even boys who have completed their degrees smoked in secret. Today, even girls smoke in public. They smoke to show others. They do so under the misconception that this gives them a mass look.

I heard that a movie showing sexual relations between siblings has recently been released in Malayalam. Why aren't such movies that are unacceptable to society banned? Society doesn't need such a movie. Why is there a censor board? To censor it. Then ban it. That's all there is to it.
