Four-year-old boy found dead in well in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A four-year-old boy was found dead in a well at Vandoor in Malappuram. The dead is Ananthu, son of Prajil of Shanthi Nagar. He went missing at 9 am Wednesday morning. At the end of the search, the body was found in the unfenced well. Initial reports say the boy, who was playing in the courtyard, may have gone near the well to take his ball.

He was taken out from the well at 11.30 and taken to a private hospital in Vaniyambalam, but his life could not be saved. His body has been taken to Manjeri Medical College for postmortem and other procedures.
