The trailer of Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, came out the other day. The actor appears in three distinct avatars in the film. Strong punch dialogues paired with Thaman’s background score enhance the trailer’s overall intensity. One of Balakrishna’s characters is a fierce Aghori saint.
Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, this film marks the fourth collaboration between the director and Balakrishna. Meanwhile, a video showing Balakrishna watching and reacting enthusiastically to his own trailer has gone viral on social media. In the clip, he is seen nodding and cheering along with the dialogues. Malayalam actor Samyuktha Menon is also seen seated beside him.

The video has attracted numerous comments, including playful remarks like “Balayya: Even I’m surprised by my own acting,” “Balayya: I truly deserve this applause,” and “I’m at a loss for words to praise myself.” Many Malayali viewers also noted that the scene reminded them of Sreenivasan’s popular character Saroj Kumar.
