18 killed after bus carrying devotees collides with truck in Jharkhand 

RANCHI: 18 Kanwariya (devotees of Lord Shiva) were killed and several others injured after a bus carrying devotees collided with a truck in Jharkhand's Deoghar district at around 4.30 am on Tuesday. The bus collided with the truck carrying gas cylinders. The bus was completely destroyed in the accident.

The death toll may rise as the condition of several people is critical. Official sources said that the injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals and primary health centres. The district administration said that efforts are underway to ensure treatment of the injured.
