45-year-old woman arrested for sexually assaulting teen

CUDDALORE: A 45-year-old woman was arrested for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy in a village near Kullanchavadi in Cuddalore of Tamil Nadu.

The boy, a first-year student at a government college in Cuddalore town, had been missing since September 20. An investigation was conducted on the complaint of his parents, but he could not be found. However, the police saw a boy with a woman at the bus stop in Kuppam village during patrolling. He was then taken into custody and when grilled, the police understood that it was the boy who went missing.

Police said the married woman had forced the teen to go with her and then sexually assaulted him. She sexually assaulted the boy several times. A POCSO case was filed against her. The police are also investigating whether she had used more children to fulfil her sexual needs.
