Army soldier killed in encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar

SRINAGAR: An Army soldier was killed in an encounter with terrorists in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The soldier has been identified as Havildar Gajendra Singh.

The encounter began yesterday afternoon in the Singhpora area of Kishtwar. The Army moved into the area following intelligence inputs about the presence of a group of eight Jaish terrorists. The encounter is still ongoing in the area.
