High security measures in Ayodhya; Anti-bomb squads and snipers on standby for any contingency

AYODHYA: Security has been beefed up in and around Ayodhya in the context of the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple. Around 13,000 security personnel are stationed in and around Ayodhya. After introducing various levels of security, snipers have also been appointed.

Anti-bomb and dog squads have also been deployed in the area. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also set up a camp to deal with any mishaps. About 7000 people in the political and cultural field are participating in the event.

Those who are part of the struggle for the construction of the temple will also participate in the consecration ceremony. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, sports legends Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni have been invited to participate in the ceremony. The ceremony, which will begin at 12:20 pm, is expected to conclude by one o'clock.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the audience after that. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people are expected to watch the event live on television and through other online platforms.
